The lift-the-flap pages in the Peek-a-Boo book are sturdy enough that my daughter hasn't torn one yet, which says a lot. She's started lifting them herself and then looking at me like she solved something. The signs book is a nice bonus but the flap one is the real winner here.

My 8-month-old has been obsessed with the My First Signs book since day one — she actually stops fussing when I start signing along with the pictures. The board pages are thick enough that she hasn't managed to bend or chew through them yet, which is saying something.
