Książka „Zaszczyceni, że możemy pomóc”

The real photos made the story feel so much more personal for my son, and he actually understood why his dad is gone instead of just being sad about it. We’ve read it every night since it arrived, and he points to Zeyiah’s face and says “she’s brave like me.”

My daughter asked to read it three times in a row the first night, and the real photos of Zeyiah’s dad in uniform really helped her understand what deployment means. It’s become our go-to bedtime pick whenever she’s feeling worried about my husband being away.

The real photos made this feel so much more personal than a cartoon—my daughter kept pointing at the girl and asking if that was her. It’s helped her talk about her dad’s deployment in a way I couldn’t get her to before, and that’s worth everything.
