The board pages are thick enough that my daughter can turn them herself without tearing anything, which is a big deal at this age. She's started pointing at the pictures and babbling like she's reading along, and honestly that alone was worth it.

My 15-month-old now grabs the chunky board books on her own and flips through them during quiet time, which never happened before. The pictures are simple enough that she points and babbles at them for a solid ten minutes.

The little board books in this set are chunky enough that my toddler can turn the pages herself without tearing them, which is a first for us. She's been carrying one around all week and babbling at the pictures.
