My 3-year-old actually asks to feed and change her doll now instead of just tossing it aside, which I didn't expect. The little cloth diapers and bottle make the whole role-play feel real enough that she's genuinely proud of "taking care" of her baby.
The swaddling blanket that comes in this set is the real winner — my 4-year-old wraps her doll up before nap time and now insists on "helping" with her actual brother. The diapering part was a little fiddly at first, but she got the hang of the velcro in a day.
My 3-year-old has been "practicing" with the doll every morning since this arrived, and the feeding and changing role-play genuinely helped her feel less nervous about the new baby. The accessories fit the doll we already had, which I wasn't sure about at first.
