Matthew W. ★★★★★

The baking story is such a clever way to teach halves and quarters—my daughter actually asked to measure flour after we read it. The pages are sturdy enough for her to flip on her own, and the fraction examples stick because they're part of making a real recipe.

The baking story is such a clever way to teach fractions—my toddler actually points at the pie slices and says "half" now. The pages have held up well through lots of flipping, and it's short enough to keep her attention.

We’ve been reading this before bed every night, and my daughter loves pointing out the “half” of the cookie on the page. The baking story makes fractions feel natural instead of school-like.
