The way the story weaves the Diwali traditions into Nyra's frustration over her ruined rangoli felt so natural, and my son asked to read it again the moment we finished. It’s a gentle, concrete way to talk about setbacks without a heavy lecture, which I really appreciated.
My daughter was so engaged when Nyra’s rangoli got ruined—it sparked a great conversation about not giving up. The story flows naturally and the lesson on persistence really stuck with her.
The rangoli illustrations are so vibrant, and seeing Nyra's frustration then determination really helped my child open up about not giving up.
