My son used to panic at the mention of the dentist, but reading this board book about Olivia's visit a few nights beforehand changed everything. The story is simple and reassuring, and he walked in calm because he already knew what to expect.
I was nervous about how my daughter would react at her first cleaning, but the Olivia board book walked her through the whole visit step by step. The illustrations of the chair and the little mirror made everything feel familiar, and she actually sat still for the dentist.
My toddler had a dentist appointment coming up and this book was a lifesaver for calming her nerves. The social story format with Olivia is so relatable, and the board pages held up perfectly through multiple panicked readings. She walked into the office actually excited to meet the dentist.
