Reading Skill Set, Box 4, Pre-K to K

The hands-on letter activities in this box finally got my 5-year-old excited about sounding out words before kindergarten. I like that everything is tactile instead of another app on a screen, and cleanup is quick since it all fits back in the tray.

My 4-year-old asks for the letter matching game almost every afternoon, which says a lot since she usually bails on activities after five minutes. The hands-on pieces have held up well through daily use, and she's already pointing out beginning sounds on her own.

My kid enjoyed the letter matching cards for a few weeks, but the box runs short on new material once those are mastered. For the price I expected a bit more variety in the literacy games.
