My son actually asks to do his reading pages now, which never happened with our old workbook. The activities are leveled just right for a 1st grader heading into 2nd, so he gets the win without it feeling too easy.
The activities are short enough that my daughter doesn't get frustrated halfway through, which was our problem with other workbooks. I do wish Box 4 had a few more pages for 2nd grade level, but the literacy skills it covers line up well with what she's doing in class.
The activities are right at my daughter's level and she actually asks to do them, which never happens with other workbooks. I do wish the box had a few more pages for the price, but the literacy practice is solid for first grade.
