My 3-year-old has been carrying the little reader booklets around the house all week, which says a lot since she usually tosses everything after five minutes. I like that the activities build on each other instead of just being random worksheets. She's actually pointing out letters on signs now.
The little booklets in this month's box finally got my son sitting still through a whole story, which never happens. He keeps flipping back to the page with the repeating phrase and "reading" it out loud to me. Worth it just for that.
My daughter actually asks to read these little books to me now, which I didn't expect at 3 and a half. The leveled readers in month 43-44 are short enough that she finishes one and feels proud instead of frustrated. Worth every penny for that switch from tears to "again, again.
