The stands click into place securely and hold the board perfectly upright on our kitchen counter, so my toddler can actually reach it without it wobbling. I’ve knocked it a few times while grabbing snacks and it hasn’t budged, which is more than I can say for the original setup.

The little feet are sturdy enough that my toddler can’t knock the whole board over mid-task, and the set of two means we’ve got one for upstairs and one for the kitchen. Assembly took under a minute, which was a relief after wrestling with other stands.
