My 18-month-old grabs this from the shelf every single morning, and the thick cardboard pages have survived being chewed, thrown, and sat on without a single bent corner. It's just the right size for her tiny hands to flip on her own.
The chunky pages hold up to serious toddler chewing and throwing, which is exactly what I needed. Arthur’s expressions genuinely make my kid giggle every single time we get to the ambulance part.
We've read this one at least fifty times this week and my son still brings it to me with that little grin, he loves pointing at the ambulance on every page. The board book is genuinely sturdy for his tiny grabbing hands, which is a relief since he's not exactly gentle with his toys.
