First Puzzle Base

The mounting grooves are deep enough that the puzzle pieces click into place securely, which is great for my toddler's still-wobbly hands. It’s solid and doesn’t slide around on the table during play.

The wood grain is surprisingly smooth right out of the box, which saved me from having to sand anything down before assembly. The fit of each piece is so snug it clicks into place without any wobble.

The pieces fit together with satisfying precision, and the surface has a nice matte finish that doesn't show fingerprints. Took me about 20 minutes to assemble the whole frame.

I wasn't sure the base would be sturdy enough, but it's actually quite substantial and doesn't slide around at all. The grooves line up perfectly with the other pieces, making assembly effortless.

I wish the base was a bit larger for bigger puzzles, but the stable, non-slip surface has been great for my toddler’s fine motor skills.

The alignment pegs are cut precisely, so the pieces snap in without any wobble. Only wish the surface had a slightly grippier finish to keep the pieces from shifting too easily.
