The New Sibling Book Collection

My toddler kept asking about the baby bump, and this collection finally gave us the right words to use. The books are sturdy enough for her to flip through solo, and they've genuinely calmed some of her worries about sharing mom and dad.

My toddler actually asks to read these together before bed now, and the simple storylines about what to expect with a new baby have made our daily conversations way less anxious. The board book pages have held up through about fifty readings and a few enthusiastic throws.

The way these books walk through the actual transition—like what happens when the baby cries or needs attention—made my 3-year-old ask questions I didn't even think to address. She’s already started “reading” them to her doll, practicing being a big sister.
